Famous Nigerian singer, Fireboy DML has made the cut into FIFA 21 with his song “Scatter” featuring a soundtrack.
Soccer and gaming giant, EA has incorporated the song “Scatter” by Nigerian Afrobeat sensation, Fireboy into the latest FIFA 21. The song is aimed to enhance the gamers’ gaming experience.
Adedamola Adefolahan’s ‘Scatter’ made the cut as one of the soundtracks for FIFA 21 that will be released on 9th October 2020. However, it was slated for September but shifted due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
Fireboy DML gains recognition in Africa following his debut studio album “Laughter, Tears, & Goosebumps” 2019.
The album has gone on to rack up over 100 million digital streams worldwide as one of the best performing young talents in the Nigerian Entertainment industry.
Meanwhile, previous editions have entertained songs from various singers from different parts of the world with exceeding genres ranging from pop to hip hop.
According to the afrobeat fast-rising star, Adedamola Adefolahan said he is excited for making the cut and with this, his legacy will live on.
While the FIFA 21 edition also hosts football talents with French and PSG superstar, Kylian Mbappe as the global cover art.
Meanwhile, Argentine and Barcelona’s forward, Lionel Messi featured as the most rated player with 93 ahead of Juventus hitman, Cristiano Ronaldo on 92 as rated by EA.
